Direct School Admission (DSA) 2019 Intake

Background

  1. Introduced in 2004, the Direct School Admission (DSA) scheme provides students with the opportunity to seek admission to a secondary school, based on a diverse range of academic and non-academic achievements and talents that they can demonstrate beyond the PSLE. Primary Six (P6) students who do not participate in the DSA-Sec Exercise will continue to seek admission based on their PSLE results through the Secondary One (S1) Posting Exercise.
  2. Under the DSA-Sec Exercise, participating schools may select some Primary Six (P6) students for admission to Secondary One. The selection is based on the school’s own admission criteria and will be conducted before the Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) results are released. The criteria may include diverse academic and non-academic achievements and talents. The DSA-Sec Exercise also allows students to demonstrate a more diverse range of achievements and talents in gaining admission to participating schools.
