Character and Citizenship Education (CCE)
In Fuhua, character development is currently delivered across the formal curriculum (CCE Lessons) and co-curriculum, through programmes led and driven by multiple agencies such as Character & Citizenship Education, Student Conduct & Discipline, CCA, Student Guidance & Family Engagement.
We deliver the programmes using a tiered approach:
- Foundation Programme aims to inculcate core values and skills through multiple platforms at school-wide level including Instructional Programmes, CCE lessons, FT periods, National Education, Values-in-Action, Sexuality Education, Education and Career Guidance Programme and other level-based programmes.
- Experiential Programme aims to inculcate core values and skills through hands-on learning opportunities such as CCA, VIA, local and overseas Character for L!fe Camps. These platforms allow the students to take ownership of their own learning and structure and time are provided for them to do reflection for meaningful learning and future improvement so as to enable them to better internalise the values and skills.
